The 1400 Alpaca Compact Carrier replaced this carrier, any accessories from the newer model can be added to this carrier. The difference is the frame design. The Alpaca Compact comes with two pins, the Alpaca Cinch. It will carry up to four bikes, five pairs of skis, a combination of two snowboards and two pairs of skis, or a mountain board.  The Alpaca Compact will fit in both 1 1/4-inch and 2-inch hitches (2-inch hitches require the purchase of the 2-inch adapter sold separately).
