Alpaca Compact
The Alpaca Compact will carry many styles of bikes, skis, snowboards, and mountain boards.  Skis and snowboards can be carried with or without their protective cases.  The Alpaca Cinch fastens the items securely to the carrier and allows you to space your items on the carrier as close or as far apart as you like.  The photo on the right is a top view of the cinch holding  snowboards, Alpine skis, ski poles, and Nordic skis to the Alpaca Compact carrier.  If you look closely you can see the steel rings used to separate the items while the strap hold them firmly in place.  The photo on the left shows our carrier with the hitch mount attached to the optional hitch extension, which will allow you to pull a light boat or trailer with the carrier.  This will require at least a Class III hitch.  With this mount you will only be able to carry 60% of you vehicles tongue weight.  If your hitch has a Tongue Weight rating of 500 lbs. you will only be able to put 300 lbs. on the hitch.  We also sell the Alpaca Compact with our patented clamp.
